Sometimes hitches can get slightly bent during shipping and this can be fixed by bending the hitch back into place as long as the hitch only has a slight bend to it. If yours isn't lining up I can almost guarantee that is what happened. Some people will use open steps for leverage, vices and even car jacks to apply controlled force to bend the hitch back. In your case you could start all of the bolts and then torque them all down to allow the hitch to bend back into place.

Weight distribution spring bars having too much play or slop could affect their performance. Their fit in the head assembly can have a bit of play but if the bars have been in use for a long time they could require replacement, especially if the system has been operated near the tongue weight limit for those bars. It sounds like your exhaust was damaged by the installer when they installed the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7322 on your 2016 Honda HR-V. There are a few welds in your exhaust which could have cracked if they did not properly support the exhaust. There is also an exhaust flange just in front of the rear suspension. We had the chance to install the Curt Hitch part # C13149 that you referenced on a 2013 Toyota RAV4 that is the same generation as your 2014 model and we found that it fit just fine. I wonder if maybe you tried to use the wrong attachment points on the frame and that is why you had interference with your brake line.

First I have linked an installation video for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13315 below. This shows an installation on a 2023 Mazda CX-5 and the threaded holes are located very close to a open hole but the threaded hole is covered with a thin tape making it difficult to see. You will want to make sure you are looking at the correct hole location first.

I spoke to Curt about the issue you are having with the Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2.5" Hitches part # C17132. The adjustment holes on the upright are .78" +/- .05" but if you were measuring with a tape measure, it's not unlikely to get 13/16" or close. I recommend that you ensure the bolts are torqued to the proper spec and that the head tilt mechanism (if equipped) is installed properly.

I spoke to my contact at Curt and he said that the reason you remove the nut of the module and enlarge the hole is so that it can be moved out of the way to allow the hitch part # C11400 to fit.
I attached a picture that points out the correct nut that you would need to remove to allow the module to be moved so that you can access the hole to enlarge it. You should note that you won't be removing the module. Just loosening the nut so that you can move it out of the way.

As far as the recommended distance between the WingBar Evo crossbars # TH711220, Thule recommends approximately 27-1/2 inches (700mm) of crossbar spread between the front of the front crossbar to the front of the back crossbar. I went ahead and attached a diagram that shows this recommendation.

The pucks on your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 will not be adjustable as they are a fixed part under the bed.
You should be able to loosen up the cotter pins and castle nuts on the Replacement Base for B&W Companion # BWRVB3710 to get the hitch to drop into the mounting points on your bed. while they normally will drop into most the pucks without adjustment they do offer some adjustment to ensure a proper fit.

Sounds like your B and W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3400 is stuck in the gooseneck ball shank of your truck bed. What we normally recommend when this happens is to connect to a fifth wheel trailer like you normally would, and then with the pin pulled out from the shank of the gooseneck hitch use the landing gear jacks to see if you can lift the hitch out of the truck bed. This is a great way to gain a mechanical advantage over the problem.

Sounds like your ball mount has rusted so badly that it is stuck in the hitch you have on your vehicle. What you will first want to do is liberally apply a spray lube like WD40 or liquid wrench to the ball mount. If the back of the hitch opening is open spray some down in there, down the front of the hitch opening and also on the hitch pin hole.
Since you don't plan on using the ball mount anymore I would recommend taking a heavy hammer or sledge and hitting the ball mount into the hitch... view full answer...

I first recommend testing the 4-Way connector on your F-150 without the Pilot Light-Up Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover # CR-007 connected. You can test each function on the connector with a circuit tester like # PTW2993. Be sure that the top of the ball is ½” to 1” higher than the top of the coupler before hooking up (trailer/truck level). If I understand correctly, 7 1/8” is the height now – that will not work. The shank can be used in the rise and/or drop positions as needed, so if you have the ball in the drop position and it's already at its maximum height, you can remove the weight distributing head, flip the shank over into the rise position and install the head in the lowest set of holes.
